For this assignment, I was tasked with informing the media outlets about a new program that would select high school students who needed help preparing for college. The University of Alabama was 1 of 3 universities in the state chosen to help make this program a success. I wrote about the most newsworthy aspects of this story, including the improvement students saw and what allowed for this progress.
