CMA Fest
I had the amazing experience to work with the Country Music Association as a temp media staff member. Every year the association hosts a music festival with country music's biggest stars. This year the organization celebrated 50 years of the event. This music festival raises money and awareness for music education across the country. The event was June 8-11, 2023.
Tasks
As a member of the temp media staff, my job was to ensure all interviews ran smoothly. I helped news stations, like the Tennessean and News Channel 5 organize interviews with up and coming country music stars.
Goals
I also worked with artists and their managers to answer questions about the upcoming interviews. My job was to work as a liaison between the media covering the event and artists performing and donating their time.
